"This is a gorgeous resort with lovely service. Everyone very kind and helpful. I loved walking around and hearing all the amazing birds. Our room was spacious and very nice. Gorgeous grounds, too! The restaurants were good but not amazing - they are serving a lot of people. We enjoyed the poolside food (poke, ceviche, cheap nojitos!). The breakfast buffet was okay - liked the quesadilla station and the fresh fruit, and the pastries were good. But it was frenetic and crazy (go early!) and there were lots of children. This was spring break/Semana Santa so maybe that accounts for it. The adults-only pool was an oasis of calm!! Restaurants - Mezquite was pretty good and beachside, which is nice. Codex was excellent! Really enjoyed that meal. Inventive and yummy."

"I recently stayed at Secrets Bahia Mita Surf & Spa and unfortunately the experience did not match the expectations of an adults-only resort. While the property is marketed as adults only, it shares facilities with Dreams Resort, and there were kids throughout many of the common areas. This made it feel less like a true adults-only getaway. The service at the lobby was also disappointing. Staff often didn’t know basic information such as opening and closing times for restaurants and amenities. The concierge team was disorganized and not very helpful, especially when trying to reserve cabanas or follow up on a lost-and-found request. Another downside was that for an adults-only resort, the beach and pools closed at 7 PM every night, which limited evening relaxation options. That said, the highlight of the stay was the hardworking staff on the ground. The bartenders, servers, housekeeping, and maintenance teams were excellent. They were attentive, friendly, and consistently greeted guests, which made the experience much more pleasant. Their effort and professionalism were the most positive part of the trip."

"From booking to check out our experience with Ancora Punta Mita was exceptional. The concierge staff checked in with us a week prior to arrival to see if we had any questions and to confirm our arrival time. Throughout our stay they assisted in making reservations for us, making recommendations on places to visit and arranged a driver to take us to the airport - Thank you Lety and Carlos for taking such goood care of us! The Ancora is wonderfully located on the water at the marina. From sunrise to sunset there is a lot of activity as fishing boats and tour excursions come and go. You can sit and watch front row from your balcony as the boats and the sea birds provide entertainment. Also located on the Main Street, Ancora is within easy walking to at least 20 fine restaurants, all on the beachfront. Our favourite was the Hoja Santa which sits on the rooftop of the Ancora beside the pool. The food and service was top of the line. Breakfast is served at Mr Cream on the lobby level again with the wonderful marina view. Our suite was very well equipped, very clean and very private. All in all, one of the most memorable vacation venues we have stayed at. Cannot say enough about the friendly and helpful staff at the Ancora. Highly recommended!"

"Worth the drive. Good spot for families or couples.. didn't seem crowded at all for cdn spring break time. Gym was nice but too small. Food was great and beach and pools we more that what ya need. Workers were happy and nice to be around. They were happy as its something i pay attention to. Good time 😊"
