Hotel Golf di Punta Gorda

"We chose this hotel based on the information on their web site and Expedia. Both used the words LUXURY it is not, the room was no more better than a Holiday Inn Express to be honest. The bed was nice, the t.v. nice. Here were our probelms : Desk Chair would not stay in a lock postion, kept going down to where it was impossible to sit in and do work on the computer had to use bed pillows to place in the chair and sit on those to get the height needed to work. Elevator shaby and very very slow,...

"Great breakfast, the frittatas were amazing and the rooms was very clean. Also the staff was friendly and caring. I would definitely comeback here if im in the area!"

"It would have been nice to use the pool however there were people smoking dope and drinking in the pool area along with playing their boomboxes super loud. There was one guy who had a house arrest bracelet on who was sitting in the shallow end of the pool smoking dog with one leg in and house arrest leg out."

"Positives: The property and rooms were clean and well-kept. The hotel is in a nice area. The breakfast was good; the waitperson was very pleasant, attentive, and helpful. Negatives: The door to the adjoining room is a terrible sound barrier. We could easily hear conversations. Unfortunately for us, our next door neighbors liked to stay up past midnight. We had to pound on the door twice to get them to speak more softly. The floor in the shower is very slippery."
