"The house is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms were perfect sized with a large ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The host Linda was lovely and accommodating and very helpful. We would definitely recommend Aachen House!"

"Good quiet stay, clean room and bathroom"

"All great"

"Great place to stay, and would recommend to others."

"The room was exactly what we were looking for. Clean and modern. A great location at a great price and plenty of parking. We will definitely be staying there again."

"Fantastic place to stay. Location was perfect and room was lovely. Great price point. Would happily stay again."

"Everything is so easy here... plenty of parking, super friendly staff, clean modern rooms, and great restaurant. Travelling for work, I really appreciated being able to use the spacious comfortable bar area to meet business colleagues - with coffee available too!! I must also comment on the fantastic service from the restaurant team!"

"Did not help with refund or anything in sort when we had a family member passed away so we had to cut our trip short. Other bookings help with this but not the hotel. Will not recommend novotel to any of my friends"

"Room was clean and bed comfortable. There was never anyone at reception and hard to reach on the number provided. A chair was broken, only one lamp and bulb went on this on second day in the room and not a lot of cutlery (only 1 knife). One cup was chipped. Okay but not great overall."

"Decent parking, nice clean rooms and the staff were very easy going and super helpful. 11/10"

"Very close to variety of eateries & a supermarket... room was clean & tidy & warm"

"There wasn't a list of things to do or not do before checkout anywhere... it would have been nice to know if they wanted the beds stripped etc. The shower, unfortunately, had absolutely no water pressure and the temperature was inconsistent. The wifi was also very slow. But we enjoyed it anyway. It was nice to feel like you were not in the middle of Auckland, there was a lot of greenery around us. The staff were very friendly."

"Free parking is a bonus. The room itself left much to be desired - it was dated and lacking many modern conveniences. The bed was the worst part. For whatever reason, the mattress is covered with a flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet. So of course it came away from the mattress as we got into bed and was impossible to keep tucked in as we slept. The mattress underneath was disgusting - covered in all sorts of revolting stains. Reception is awkward, as even during opening hours, we had to buzz...
