"The NICI was a wonderful hotel with many great features. We were upgraded to a terrace sea view room which was delightful. Room was clean. Staff were extremely friendly across the hotel, spa and main restaurant. We would recommend and we will be returning. "

"Unfortunately on 2nd floor shower was cold to barely lukewarm for the entire weekend in March. Heating too was off when we arrived but later fixed. No breakfast available and noise throughout the night with banging doors talking laughing etc. Odour exists in rooms and corridors. Hotel is a throwback to the 60's and badly in need of a total renovation. However the price is quite cheap so you get what you pay for."

"Parking was easy, safe and not expensive. Perfect location as close to nearby shops, park and seafront but still quiet. The staff were excellent and there was a good choice at breakfast. I would highly recommend Mount Stuart for a decent, clean and affordable place to stay."

"I cannot fault my stay, from start to finish it was superb from the very welcoming and friendly Roberto where absolutely nothing was to much trouble, to how amazingly clean and well kept the communal areas were, to the fantastic room i stayed in. I have stayed in a fair few hotels in Bournemouth but this one stands head and shoulders above all of them in terms of staff, cleanliness, location, comfiness of bed and it was so quiet.
