"Reception not very welcoming. Made you feel like your reservation doesnt exist. Only person who was welcoming was Breakfast Manager. Tired rooms but very welcoming and for 50 quid a room did not excpect more."

"What bar? Had a pimms, only citrus fuits and two raspberries, no apple, no cherry, no cucumber. Staff excellent, especially at breakfast. Unfortunately we had to pay for parking!!"

"The continental breakfast was more than adequate with a pot per person of tea/coffee .The full car park indicated that the hotel was a popular choice to stay which was not surprising As a bonus literally 2 mins walk away is the Cristallo Italian restaurant,fantastic food,generous portions and wonderful friendly service "

"It was like faulty towers and everyone else said so too so wasn’t just me. Whatever cd go wrong did all the time. I’m exhausted and need a holiday to get over such a nightmare. My mother left a day early. I wd hv done too but was visiting my son."

"Unfortunately on 2nd floor shower was cold to barely lukewarm for the entire weekend in March. Heating too was off when we arrived but later fixed. No breakfast available and noise throughout the night with banging doors talking laughing etc. Odour exists in rooms and corridors. Hotel is a throwback to the 60's and badly in need of a total renovation. However the price is quite cheap so you get what you pay for."

"The hotel was comfy, clean and close to local amenities. Staff were friendly and happy to help with any queries. Breakfast was lovely with a nice selection of food. Room was cosy and everything needed to make the stay enjoyable e.g. fast wifi, hairdryer, iron etc. Would stay here again :-)"

"Room only. Website said self parking but this was at the back of the hotel and run by a different company, another £35. Hotel was tired. Lift broken down but small service one working for the bags but we used the stairs. Outdoor pool was dirty. Check in was not until 16.00. We had a coach of youth rugby players and staff staying at the hotel so we had kids running about the bar and disturbances in the corridors late at night and the fire alarm was set off twice at two in the morning.
