"This is an average motel close to Foxwood's with a fair price. We made last minute plans over Memorial Day Weekend so everywhere was pretty much sold out. "It was just perfect! I only have one complaint, I rented this particular room with a door opening outside on the porch to be able to smoke. They still wouldn't allow any smoking outside your door. Unfortunately it rained out entire stay with no where dry to smoke. I understand , but for us smokers it wasn't pleasant. But it is very clean and well maintained with a lot of nice amenities!"

"Everything was good only few things which one of them being the pool and hot tub being outdoors we werent able to enjoy them as we should've with our weekend being rainy. Another thing i noticed was the room not being insulated or sound proof enough and we could hear everything from the room next door other than that everything else was good and clean..."

"A piece of Heaven right here at the 1661 Inn. All staff were helpful, polite and very pleasant. Everything you can imagine for breakfast, and it was all delicious. The view from the deck off of our room was breathtaking. Our champagne and cookies were waiting for us which was a great way to start off our fun time on the Island. "

"The best thing about my room was the renovated tiny bathroom. It had nice marble and sink but the toilet seat was loose. And that was just the beginning of the poor state of things. The room was pretty clean but the door paint had been chipped and not repainted and the door handle was barely functional. I definitely used the deadbolt lock. The curtains on the window were a solid panel so you couldn't really open them. I slid them aside. Fun fact: the metal box the mattress sits on makes a cool...

"The staff were very kind, however the property is in need of both cleaning and updates. Our shower had mold on the ceiling and the curtain liner, the jacuzzi tub needed to be cleaned, and the room definitely had a very strong odor. We were only able to get a smoking room and the scent was extremely evident, to the point where it affected sleep and made my clothes smell that I didn't even wear. I understand the appeal of a smoking room for some, but the small space made it hard to handle. The TV...

"Amazing! Gorgeous! Clean & beautifully designed! Love the breakfast buffet & the complimentary wine & cheese hour. So grateful we were able to check in early because we had to leave earlier than planned due to the storm. Animals were a delightful surprise & view of ocean was breathtaking 😍❤️ We will be back!"
