"Very small room with weird smell. Staff is useless and just wants to get rid of you. You hear everything going down the hallway and rooms around, no noise insulation in the room. Super loud air system. Miniature closet and bathroom, even smaller than European standards!"

"I’ve stayed at the Hilton Chicago many times, and I keep going back because it is always a great experience. The staff is great, making check in easy and using the amenities easy. The property is clean and well maintained, so it feels luxurious, and it’s right downtown in the loop so you have easy access to anything you may want to experience in Chicago. I highly recommend the Hilton for any trip or staycation in Chicago."

"Nice hotel but Junior Suite couch bed was very uncomfortable. Could feel the springs so we made it back into a couch and 2 of us had to sleep on it. For the price for the room, over $300. It definitely was not worth it."

"We had a lovely stay at the Royal Sonesta! The location was excellent; the property was beautiful - well-maintained and clean. Staff was fantastic all around, from the gentleman at the front door to the front desk staff, and the restaurant staff as well, where we had a delicious breakfast and chatted with some lovely fellow guests while we ate. On the negative side, and these are very small inconveniences, we didn't get fresh kleenex for the bathroom, so we took some from the housekeeper's cart. The TV reception was quite poor on many of the channels (I know - lots of people don't even watch the TVs in hotel rooms anymore!), and the fridge made a lot of noise! I suppose we could have asked for assistance with these things, but as I said, these were very small inconveniences, we were only there for three nights, and we were really only in our room at night. Everything else was great, and the rate was super for a downtown Chicago hotel, so I do recommend the Royal Sonesta!"
