"Clean room"

"There was no breakfast. It is very basic. I stayed for two nights during graduation weekend. The one positive was when I checked in they gave me a little bag with some pompoms, a whistle, and noise maker for people who were here for graduation. The room was mostly acceptable with functioning fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and shower. However, I didn’t feel that it was thoroughly clean. The towels and bedding appeared to be clean and the mattress was decent. But the bathroom was dingy and there was a bunch of garbage under both beds. Like a whole bunch of dead rose petals,globs of dust and crumbs, bit of food, like Doritos and chips and dirt like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. That kind of grossed me out because I dropped a pill and I went to pick it up and that’s what I found. It makes me think what other parts weren’t actually cleaned properly. Some parts of the room seem like they have been renovated in the past 4-5 years, while other parts are old and worn and should be replaced. For the price I paid, it was very disappointing. Over $500 for two nights. Not worth it. Luckily my daughter graduated and I’ll never have to stay there again. I think because so many young people rent those rooms that they just aren’t taken care of but I feel I really got ripped off for the price. It’s a basic motel room. "

"I thought with the cost of the room it might include breakfast or other emmenities. Also there were additional charges added to my bill which I was not aware of."

"The property is above average and reasonably priced. Ideal for budget stays. The staff is always polite, friendly, and helpful. Will stay again."

"Disappointed in the situation when there was a fight happening in the room next to ours. We called front desk 3x between 1-230am with little help. Forgot items of clothing in closet and called within 24 hr. Front desk person said they had not cleaned room and would collect them. Then said they never found them. I called 5 times and was polite every time. I know leaving items was my fault however the staff keeping a pair of jeans blouse and sweater to me is very unprofessional."

"The room was not clean, shades had clear holes and rips in them, exposed wiring in the hallways, doors that did not lock at advertised times, no details provided about breakfast requirements, clear signs of disrepair throughout building. Even heard staff threatening to call police over a pet acting like a pet in a "pet-friendly" room."

"Stayed for MSU graduation. Every staff member interaction was great, special shout out to Kyra who was in charge of room we rented for the reception- she was wonderful to work with, as was Ellie at the front desk. Comfortable accommodations, would stay again!"
