"The location is excellent - easy walking in downtown Providence. The staff are great and the rooms are clean and maintained. My only quibble is the "city view" room on the second floor provided not much of a view. Also, there is a small table in the room, but no chair (an uncomfortable bench too awkward to work with) so working in the room was not possible. "

"They were working on elevators. Only 1 out of 3 were working. The one that was working broke with several people on it including a father, his son, and daughter. They were stuck for 25 mins. "I love this Hampton Inn. There is a shuttle that will pick you up from the Amtrak train and take you to the hotel free of charge. In addition, they offer a complimentary breakfast. The rooms are so comfortable. I got the best night's sleep. It is located on 2 blocks from Johnson and Wales University, which was our purpose for going to Providence, RI. I loved the staff. They are very pleasant and helpful. Staying there was like staying with family and friends. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"The staff were respectful and accommodating. Checked in at my room in the evening. Everything was clean and orderly no smells, quiet hallways. The next morning I went to shower there was hair on the tub floor and stains on my towel. It wasn’t to the point of unbearable nastiness but stuff I shouldn’t be looking at while checking into a hotel. Other than that my stay was calm and pleasant. "

"Wonderful place. You can tell they take a lot of pride with this property. The room was really comfortable and exceptionally clean. The decor was pleasing and unlike any other motel I have stayed in. Check in was easy and during my 3 night stay it was very quiet. Which was greatly appreciated. I’d recommend Founders Brook Motel and Suites to everyone. Thank you for this gem. I’ll definitely be back"

"Highly recommend the Loft as it was a beautiful space. The Heddle room has a glass window in the door to the bathroom. Technically you could shower in privacy but I would rather a solid door.
Staff handled an issue with our original room well. They were immediately available when I called and provided both a short term (moving rooms for the night) and long term solution (fixing the issue) plan within ten minutes. Heddle room is a good option if you need a place to sleep and will be otherwise...
