"Our stay was next to prefect… even the rainy weather couldn’t dampen our stay! Our room was beautiful with magnificent view of Douro…everywhere is like a storybook! We had dinner the 2 nights we stayed it was excellent. We did a wine tasting tour… tasting and learned so much! Quinta de la Rosa is only a short walk from town so we had a nice lunch in town and walk around! Prefect 2 nights!"

"This was a fabulous find! The property host was super accommodating. We got in late in the evening and had to leave early. His mom made a delicious home cooked meal and prepared the breakfast buffet early enough for us to eat before we had to leave. The view was fantastic and the room comfortable. "I stayed at Quinta de São Luís (Vine House) and I have to say, this was hands down the highlight of my entire trip to Portugal. I’ve traveled quite a bit, but I had never seen anything this beautiful. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. My room was stunning — incredibly spacious with a huge balcony overlooking the most breathtaking views. The bed was so comfortable, and I loved the thoughtful touches like the complimentary little bottles of wine in the room. The service was exceptional. Ana, in particular, went above and beyond to make my stay special. She personally recommended a nearby vineyard where I had an unforgettable lunch — the food was absolutely delicious. I also had the chance to do a wine tasting tour, which was such a fun and memorable experience. The wines were fantastic! This place truly feels like a 5-star experience in every way. If I could give it more than five stars, I absolutely would. My only regret is that I stayed just one night — I wish I had planned to stay longer during my nine days in Portugal. I’m already dreaming about coming back. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, stunning scenery, incredible wine, and outstanding service, look no further.
