"The place has character and seems to be well taken care of. Breakfast is different and well prepared, but not that filling. Our biggest problem was not getting any hot water in the shower or the bathroom sink tap even after letting the water run for 20 minutes with the knob turned to the max on the right hand side (tried other settings too). "Clean room, very nice staff when we checked in! We really enjoyed the bar in the lobby before the concert then definitely after with Zombie Taco and the bar still open until 1 AM. "

"Convenient location. Plenty of food options in the hotel plus a very cool speakeasy with an old fashion bowling alley. Room was quiet. We had a one bedroom suite on the fourth floor. But was disappointed there was not a pretty view for the price."

"The staff and check in was great! It’s an older building so it could stand some more updating. But all things considered it a great place. Perfect for Thunder of Louisville!! Sadly through no fault of Galt house the surrounding area has declined quite a bit. Luckily there are nice restaurants, bars, and entertainment on property. We will definitely go back!"

We were traveling with a volleyball club so the complimentary breakfast was a huge convenience and help with getting our girls fuel in the morning before heading to the tournament.
