"We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always happy to help and made us feel genuinely welcome. The room was comfortable, spotless, and wonderfully quiet—perfect for a relaxing night’s sleep. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into creating a peaceful and enjoyable environment for guests. Overall, a very nice stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended! "

"Parking and check in were easy. We had to request a hair dryer and when that finally arrived we had noticed there was no tv remote control. So had to ask for that as well. The curtains were broken and hanging off the track in several places. The pipes made a squealing noise when the shower was turned on. Also the duvet was stained with red/brown spots (I believe it was laundered), I would expect housekeeping to notice this and discard the bedding with stains. The staff were very friendly and...

"I visited for 1 night and prior to my stay I had emailed requesting rooms together which I did not receive a reply, this was a little disappointing as we were on different floors! We also felt a little unsafe at the property and the beds were very uncomfortable with springs noticeable! Our rooms were clean and had the basics of what was needed, however very outdated and I experienced a lot of plaster crumbling off my wall! I don’t think the hotel matches up with how it is described on advertised...

"Charming place, was able to provide a travel cot for the baby. Lovely staff and breakfast! We were by on Easter weekend, so it was understandably busy with lots of kids running around the courtyard. Our bed time is very early, so it's not like the noise was unreasonable at first... However after a long journey, jet lag, and teething our baby was waking constantly, extremely cranky and then around 9pm (I think) a kid knocked on our door and ran away while we were getting the baby back down!!! "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kings Head. The staff were really friendly, breakfast was delicious and the tapas menu was superb. Some facilities were in need of attention such as the lack of sufficiently hot water in the shower. Overall though we would definitely go back"

"Clean comfortable room. Staff were fantastic - Elvis particularly was really attentive and friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. Loved all the dietary accommodations in the breakfast bar!!! I’m lactose intolerant so it was really nice to see the soy milk for the tea and the plant based yoghurt for the fruit station!!!! Haven’t seen that in any other hotels I’ve stayed in recently. All in all a very pleasant trip"
