"Very mediocre stay. Had two consecutive but separate reservations which turned into an issue at the front desk. The room is tired and desperately in need of a renovation. Showers are so small that they are barely usable. Smallest TV that I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The rooms look funky on the pictures but they’re tired. Noisy, could hear every little bit of hallway movement, especially at 3 AM. Worst part - no housekeeping. When I complained to the front desk, I was just told they were short...

"The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast was good for the price you pay. I only docked a star because on one of our nights there, there was a fire alarm at 4 am. It was a false alarm, but there was no announcement that it was false (so everyone had to shuffle outside at 4 am to learn that it was false, including the elderly and those with young children), and there was no apology/acknowledgment the next day."

"This is a beautiful - beautiful - new property in a lovingly restored heritage building. Our apartment was stylishly minimalist and had everything we needed. I was sad we only had two nights there. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Sauna and gym also nice. Right in Old Port and walkable to Eaton/Underground shopping. I WILL be back!"
