"The Lofts are located in a separate building from the main hotel and the unit we stayed in was a walk-up. So be prepared for stairs! The loft was fantastic and offered great street views of Old Montreal. The Loft was spacious, clean, comfortable, and a great place to stay. We were only 59 steps (down) to the street and it was so great to have all that access to Old Montreal. Highly recommended! Hotel and Valet staff were highly helpful and responsive too. "We were in the area and had really no other place to stay and ended up choosing this location. It looks charming and quaint from the outside but it's not great on the inside. I would not recommend. "

"Spacious room and bathroom, right in the heart of Old Montreal. There is no front desk, so communication is all through Expedia/texting, which can be hard if you don’t have cell service or if you’re traveling with elderly travelers. Overall, any issues we had were worked out pretty quickly and housekeeping staff was lovely. "Our stay at the property was great! It was very quiet, though very close to all the main areas. It was probably a 3 minute walk to the city center. Right outside the property is an excellent spot to view the sunset! The property was spacious and clean, with a full kitchen where we actually did some cooking during our stay. Communication was great even though there is no front desk, our requests and inquiries were answered. Overall, a great experience!"

"Really liked Alexander Hotel. The location is fantastic - right in the middle of Old Montreal and a quick walk to any of the sites. Perfect location. The staff were courteous and the check in and out process was really, really quick. The room was lovely. Very well appointed with a kitchenette, washer, dryer, small cafe table to sit at. I only spent one night in town, but was comfortable and enjoyed it."
