"Lovely property in the middle of the city centre - and yet very calm and quiet. Room was excellent, with AC and space and nicely, easily decorated, ample power sockets placed in the correct place. . Breakfast is easy - buffet style and menu for hot items.. All very good - will stay again ."

"There was no air conditioning in most of the rooms, which is quite dated for a hotel of this scale. The room was unbearable with the heat wave, as it was small too there was no natural ventilation other than the window which opened slightly and it was impossible to sleep. The bathroom was very dated too, as the shower was in the bath and not big enough, the bathroom as a whole was tiny too. For the money paid it was not value for money at all."

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "Excellent location for both bus and train journeys. Both run regularly from Temple Meads railway station which is just across the road. There is also a ferry service which runs from behind the station. Unfortunately there are too many steep steps down to the wharf for anyone with mobility issues."

"Stayed overnight to attend a wedding, and location was wonderful. Bed was comfortable and showerroom very good. We were able to park easily as there were few cars parked, but carpark filled rapidly and cars were having to leave without parking. Our room was on the lower ground floor overlooking carpark which was gravelled, so it was very noisy and we had to draw the curtains for privacy, particularly when 2 vehicles decided to park right up against our bedroom window, not great. "It was a ok stay . Local to a few bars and restaurants. We were on the 2nd floor which was accessed by a lift . However to get to the room we had to negotiate 2 sets of steps which was annoying when you have large heavy suitcases . No complementary water in room ?? Overpriced in my opinion, but its Bristol!!"
