"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "Complained about the air con ticking constantly in our room (720) for the guy behind the reception to laugh at me. He stood there like he wasn’t going to do anything. I asked if we could switch rooms, upgrade rooms .. nothing. He told me we would have someone come to the room and look .. again, nothing. "Lovely clean hotel. Greatly placed for all of Bristols amenities/nightlife. Basin took a while to drainin bathroom but we reported it and no doubt it will be seen to. Value for money. Would stay again."

"In general, the hotel provides good sized room. Breakfast is good with selection. But out of expectation, when we check in staff tried to charge for breakfast which is included with the room. Otherwise, it’s a good stay and good location too."

"Went down for breakfast around 10am, and a lot of items were running out, the hot drinks machine were broken, so could only have hot water from a flask which also ran out. The flask said "coffee", so it wasn't clear that was just hot water."
