"Lovely staff, very friendly. Room was far too hot and air con only blew out hot hair despite being on the cold setting. We were on the lower ground floor so we couldn’t open our windows properly without having the curtains open which meant people walking down the side street could see directly in to our room. One of the windows was locked too. Bar closed early and would only serve bottled wine or beer. "

"The Ibis Aberdeen location is excellent - it is a mere minutes walk from and to the Aberdeen ral station which is also attached to Union Square shopping mall and food court. The food court includes a Wagamama and a Pizza Express. The Ibis is also close to the Aberdeen bus station (adjacent to Union Square) and is close to the bus 1 or 2 stop for Robert Gordon University. "The check in process took us 3 hours in total. We were not sent the check in instructions and when we tried to call the number listed there was no one connected. After waiting 2.5 hours someone connected and when we managed to talk to her she then couldn’t get the lockbox code which took another 30 minutes "
