"This place is a little hidden gem. An ideal stop-over in an area that struggles to offer B&B's of this high standard. The room was excellent - very clean and well appointed, the staff were pleasant and attentive and the breakfast was perfect. The area is quiet, so don't expect much to do in the evening unless you want to drive, but some pleasant walks. I was recommended a good place to eat within a few minutes walk (The Flying Dutchman), but if you want to use one of the many takeaways that are...

"stayed here before and love the place. The room is tastefully decorated as is the house. The bed super comfortable and sheets top notch, so smooth and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Hosts friendly and helpful as always. Cute seating area in the garden, plenty of parking and easy access to town, public transport. Will definitely stay again."

"I would like to ask for a full refund really but I know I won't get one. We were left in property on our own and told to lock up when we come and go. The sheets on the beds were dirty. Bathroom dirty. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. We left at half 4 in the morning with little or no sleep at all. Terrible place "

"The Ferryboat Inn is an old establishment that I last visited ten years ago. It has been sympathetically refurbished keep a lot of the original features but adding a new bar in place of the old conservatory. I was very impressed with all the changes."
