"Desk personnel were very nice. First room smelled overwhelming of disinfectant followed by a cat pee smell all night. Second room smelled of disinfectant unpleasantly strong. Rooms were old and not well maintained-faucet was moving in one room and shelving was crooked. Hangers were rusty. Breakfast was a bagel. Juice dispenser was broken, decaf coffee dispenser was broken, no protein choices. For over $200 per night I expected more."

"The staff allowed us to drop our luggage off before check-in so we could go off to do other things and that was nice. The mattress was fairly comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine. Otherwise it was an unpleasant experience. The room was dark and dingy. The furnishings were worn out…the easy chair had stained fabric, the bed sheet had a hole in it, and the handle on the folding door to the bath was missing. The TV produced a message stating that the streaming contract was expired so...

Room reaked of smoke, dope and cigarettes. Banging on floor from unit above us until 2 in the morning. Will never ever stay at this motel again."

"First of all, after a 5 hour drive with two toddlers in bad weather, the room we got was NOT what we booked. I booked a suite with a pullout sofa bed. There were two double beds. I had to make a bed for my grandsons on the floor. I was told there were none of those rooms available (even though that’s what I paid for). They offered no other options, compensation or anything to accommodate making them a bed. Second, the 2nd floor hallway wreaked of pot. The carpets were nasty, ceiling tiles were...

"We enjoyed our stay at Aldrich House in early June. It was clean and comfortable and very conveniently located in a quiet cul-de-sac within easy walking distance of the historic area of Williamsburg. Tom was friendly and helpful and I can warmly recommend this accommodation."

"My husband and I had a relaxing long weekend. Our room and hotel was clean. Housekeeping came in one day to tidy up and everything was perfect when we returned. They were very respectful of our room. I have to mention the bartenders! Carrie and Ramona were fabulous! Their drinks were perfect and they kept us laughing. These ladies made our trip!"

"This location was very convenient to the Busch Gardens Water Country areas. We were less than 8 minute drives to either. We were very close to Historic Williamsburg as well, which made a nice day out. The hotel staff was helpful. The rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay."

"The pool door and the side door by room 201 the key card entry was broken. We would have to leave it propped open or walk around the entire building to get back inside. For the pool door it would not open with the key card. Someone from inside would have to open it for you or it would have to be left open. Also the dog stations were not full all the time. I had to ask two different times for bags to pick up my dogs poop."

"On the plus side, the breakfast was outstanding. They had waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs, yogurts, juice, coffee, etc...very good. Staff was attentive and helpful in answering questions. On the needing improvement side, the AC was very noisy while it was running. We actually had difficulty watching television while it was running. Also, the televisions in the rooms were not capable of streaming content so we couldn't watch our usual programs through our streaming subscriptions unless we...

"We had a few issues in the beginning of our stay, but they did get resolved on our last night. Some issues were cable not working, internet not connecting to devices, there was a telephone, but no hooks up so the phone didnt even work. The room was cleaned in a rush, there was a pretzel under the mattress.. & there was not spare toilet paper roll."
