"We really enjoyed our stay at the Peppers. Our room was clean and spacious. The pool area was lovely, but it was not a heated pool so a little cold to go into in July. Breakfast was okay. A good variety of options and fried eggs can be cooked to order. Cleaning of our room during our stay could’ve been better. It was really only a service to change towels, make the bed and empty bins. "This was our second stay on Heron Island and now that we're back home, we can't wait to come back a third time. We travel a lot but this island is one-of-a-kind! The amount of wildlife (turtles, sharks, rays, fish, dolphins, birds, ...) that you get to experience up close is absolutely special. Even if you don't dive, you're able to see all kinds of animals when snorkelling. I highly recommend to get up early and snorkel around the Jetty before breakfast. Both times, we spent 3–4 nights...

The property was pretty run-down, there is no WiFi in the rooms and the TV wasn’t functional as the terrestrial stations were unavailable as the aerial didn’t work and again, there’s no WiFi so the TV was useless. "First of all the location is excellent… right in the middle of the rainforest, although the drive up there is not for the faint hearted. My room was very basic, which was expected.
