"This is the perfect tranquil place to relax and enjoy both Costa Rican nature and the beauty of the beach and pacific ocean. The atomosphere is quiet, the staff is kind and accommodating, the property grounds are maintained well, the rooms are comfortable. Access to pool and food is convenient. I love the hammocks everywhere to lounge in.
The location is close enough to Quepos and Jaco for a day trip to check out the touristy areas but remote enough to get away.
This is our second stay here...

"The best combination of proximity to the park, proximity to the beach, yet a quiet location with lush plantings throughout the property that make it peaceful, private and tropical. Great pool (and pool bar) with an awesome, friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast with wonderfully local food items."

"We loved our stay at Karahe and only wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed on the beach side and it is the best choice because it gives you easy access to the beach, pool, and restaurant. The breakfast buffet was good and the happy hour was awesome! The beach is absolutely beautiful and the kids spent hours playing on boogy boards that we rented from the hotel. We discovered that we had a flat tire upon checkout and the maintenance man helped us change it and reception directed us to a nearby repair shop. Everyone made us feel welcome and well cared for. As my son said, this was the best hotel of our trip!"
"Great location and they provide a shuttle to Espadilla (public) beach and Manuel Antonio National Park. Beachside bar cocktails are expensive, but they take making cocktails seriously. Staff are helpful. Only unclassy move is that at the breakfast buffet which is included in your stay, they bring you a check to sign for $0 hoping that you will add a tip, which is silly since the only table service provided is pouring you water. Based off of this we decided not to eat any meals at the restaurant, but there are lots of good options within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We had an ocean garden room which was spacious with a beautiful view and balcony. The property is gorgeous and you cannot beat the location."
"Came to Costa Rica for my anniversary trip.
The Hotel Gaia was a pleasant experience. Overall the staff was wonderful! Never waited for answers. They were always right there with answers. I've been in the hospitality business for 31 years so I appreciate EXCELLENT service, and that it was.
The room was very nice also. The complimentary breakfast made waking up early easy.
It was just a short drive away from plenty of restaurants and shopping. The hotel offered free shuttle to the nearby beach and national park which we took full advantage of.
Overall, I have to say the hotel experience was wonderful!"
"Hotel Costa Verde did not meet our expectations; it was the most expensive place we stayed in Costa Rica and we liked it the least. The biggest problem is the hotel room walls are paper thin so we could clearly hear normal volume conversations taking place in the next room as well as lots of noise from the baby and toddler, waking us up multiple times during the night and noisy throughout the day as well. You can hear doors opening and closing very loudly in the next room, too. The hotel does not provide basic coffee condiments in the room or in the lobby; I requested a simple dry packet of creamer, or a bit of milk, or anything for my coffee (coffee that I brought myself), and was told it's not provided. This is not what I expect from a 4-star hotel. The swimming pool (we went to Pool A twice) has a nice ocean view but otherwise it is a basic small square pool with discolored, old chairs and no ambiance at all. No music, no service, no umbrellas, no towels. Finally, be aware that the overall property consists of many buildings that are spread out from each other; our building in "Area D" had zero amenities; we had to either drive our rental car or request a shuttle ride if we wanted to go to the pool, go to the restaurants on the property, or get to Area E from which you can walk a steep path to the beach. The positive things about the hotel were a refrigerator and 2-burner cooktop in the room, hot water in the shower, and a nice balcony. I wouldn't stay here again."
"Si Como No is a beautiful property with helpful staff. I’d highly recommend. Hilaria and Aaron at the front desk were so kind and welcoming. We felt at home. "
"Room was clean everyday, breakfast was my favorite part. The only complaints is that the lap pool was over bleached so much that my eye were burning. It felt like I had got pepper sprayed. I had blurring vision for half the day. Really bad. Jacuzzi was working. We asked them to prepare it for us and they did but forgot to mention there. I got water. And lastly, you have to call them to open the garage door in the back. Sometimes they take a long time to answer their phone. I had to call 5 times. Very inconvenient. "
"Property was really nice pool had enough of sun and shade. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast in the morning was good overall it was a fantastic stay....."
