Nous sommes arrivés vers 19h00. Aucune annonce pour retrouver la place. Il n'y avait que le guardien avec la clé pour notre chambre; très gentil pour essayer de répondre à nos questions malgré le fait qu'il ne parlait pas un mot d'anglais. Très bruayante la chambre car située à l'entrée. La salle de bain et le lit ne valaient pas plus qu'une étoile. Les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité et surtout pas un hotel 3 étoiles. Très décevant au niveau qualité/prix et service!

Exotic gardens, refreshing pool: a Quepos oasis

Close enough to Quepos to be convenient, but blissfully apart from the crowds--better than a resort. The villas in this small complex are spacious, nicely decorated in a modern style, well equipped and comfortable for four people. The modern, fully equipped kitchen made it enjoyable to cook for ourselves. Add to that exotic gardens and an inviting pool at the centre of the complex--and we didn't want to leave the property.

Not really a holiday hotel

This 'hotel' is actually a complex of villas and apartments. There are no concierge services apart from check in and the establishment is not clearly signposted from the road so is difficult to find. Although we had access to a nice pool our room was actually above a row of empty retail units and had very limited natural light so we spent as little time as possible in it.

Chambre bruyante

Chambre très mal située à l entrée de l hôtel donc réveil à chaque fois que la barrière métallique s ouvre. La salle de bain n avait pas d eau chaude au lavabo. Un grand frigo mais pas le micro onde comme annoncé dans l annoncé. Le Check in s est effectué sans le réceptionniste car absent à 16h30! Nous avons passé 3 nuits horrible et avions hâtes de partir. Visiblement il s agit d un ancien bureau transforme en chambre

The worst room ever.

We were put up in a closet stuck back in a hallway. View only of a wall. They have rented the whole bottom floor to businesses that open at 6 am but the workers get there at 530 and yell back and forth where to park and who is giving whom a ride. Extremely noisy and we left a day early with no refund for the day lost.

Didn't get a room what we reserved.Very rude staff

We had a reservation in this property for 2 nights (jan.24 and 25). We booked a family studio with garden view, kitchen, king bed, Tv etc. When we arrived, the staff who was in charge (his name Miguel, no english at all) told us that for the price what we supposed to pay for our stay, he can not give us, what we booked. We gave him our printed reservation and apparently he saw the price. He said for that price we couldn't get anything but a small room with a double bed and window facing to a dark staircase which (probably) leads to the garage or to the basement. We tried to explain to him (there was a local guy, who could speak english and translated our conversation), that he has nothing to worry about the price and he has to give us the room what we booked. After a half an hour we realized that this guy won't understand us and won't give us a room, so we gave up, because we have to find a room for that night. But this situation ruined our first evening in Quepos. We lost precious time and money (we didn't pay for the room, because we supposed to pay when we checking in, but we have to find a hotel room in last minute and of course all the prices our higher, than if you book in advance). Very bad experience. I don't wish this situation for anyone.

I didn't know but initial reservation was for a small apartment which I would never have stayed in. We were upgraded to the villas which are very spacious. The pool is great there and close to town.

Dumpy little room.

Dumpy little room with broken toaster and leaking faucets. No maid service either. Not worthy even 2 star rating. I don't even know how it got 3 stars. The property is hard to find as it has no actual address and no signage. Please, do yourself a favor and pick a different hotel! I am very disappointed in Hotels.com for even featuring this property. A total bust indeed!

Small, quiet, and private near Quepos

We rented the efficiency with small kitchenette for approx. $53 night. Double bed as you walked in the door, seperate small bathroom and kitchen. No hot water in kitchen, so washed dishes using hot water from coffee pot. Be aware there was no bath soap or paper towels provided with rental; plenty of fresh water bottles supplied. Room had a little closed in feeling, no balcony with this one room. Villas on property are quite nice. Our efficiency room was not available the first night so we were temporarly put into one of the villas. The grounds and pool are immaculate and maintenance man, Louis, who spoke little English, was attentive to guests' comfort. Upon check out we notified him of a leak in the toilet which we are confident he will repair. You can walk into town, about 8/10 mile to town center, where there are many grocery stores and restaurants and the bus terminal. Bus to Manuel Antonio is only 300 colones ($0.60 usd) payable as you enter the bus. Bus system is very good and inexpensive. We purchased groceries in Quepos and taxied back to the hotel for 1000-1500 colones, dependent on driver/time of day.

condos and standard room are outside locked gate!

Our flight was delayed so we called the manager to see if we could rent a room one night aside from our reservation over the weekend. We were given the "emergency room" for a discounted rate and the manager was very helpful and friendly. The room was not bad considering the price and that it was last minute. It was an office converted into a room on the ground floor next to the security gates to the larger property contsining the "villas". The gate was loud and curtains minimal but the price so we're grateful. When we returned on the weekend for our reservation made on this site for double the price the manager was not as friendly and seemed disgruntled with the confirmed price. We were give another room as a "standard room with kitchenette". Which was not numbered leading us to believe this was another "emergency room" or workers room. The Room was smaller than the first " emergency room " but the kitchenette was much nicer with a big fridge and well stocked with cooking pots and pans. We were there fri-mon and never had our room cleaned or trash emptied. The bed was extremely firm as most ends seem to be in CR and the TV and air conditioner were great. The location of the room was in the staircase which was loud with night workers. On Monday am we were greater with loud car radio as the employees at the governmen school on the lower floor came to work at 6:30 am. Be aware condos and "standard room" are outside locked gate and not near the beautiful pool.

Manager left for 5 days or was too busy to help with activities. No housekeeping. No paper towels in villa. Hotel does not honor late arrival.

Ok for one night

Used as base to go to Manuel Antonio park, it was cheap so we took it for the night. It was clean but everything was so-so. Need a car to get around. I wouldn't recommend staying in Quepos as the town is run down and there is nothing to do. Better off staying in one of the accommodations on the road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio village. All the restaurants and hotels are in that area.
