"Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. "

"Beautiful location/setting. Pool was nice at end of a long day. Staff were wonderful,we had an amazing evening enjoying a dinner and wine while taking in the view on our patio. Personal touch as only five guest rooms. Breakfast in morning was included and great way to start off the day"

"Beautiful renovated property inside while maintaining the rustic charm of the stone houses that are so traditional in this part of Portugal:) beautiful views overlooking the Douro valley . Right in the center of town and walkable for restaurants :) very friendly staff "

"An incredible location but you definitely need a car to get there. It’s high up in the hills. Narrow roads but easy to find with Google maps. Host does not speak English but daughters do. Beautiful continental breakfast with sliced meats & cheese, yogurt, cereals and muesli, coffee, tea, jams & cake. "

"Estadia incrível! Recepção muito atenciosa, quarto limpo e confortável, o hotel é esteticamente lindo, parece aquelas casas de filme, muito fofo! Café da manhã ótimo, lugar silencioso e super acolhedor. Parecia que tínhamos o hotel só pra gente, piscina vazia e um clima adorável. Nao tem estacionamento, mas na rua do hotel tem um supermercado onde tem convênio com o hotel e podemos colocar lá sem taxa alguma. Voltarei com certeza! "

Le décor a lui seul rend l’endroit exceptionnel le reste est du bonus! Les serviettes pourraient être changé pour des plus agréables, mais cela ne nous empêchera assurément pas de revenir, merci pour tout!! "

"Hele mooie plek om te verblijven. Het was alleen jammer dat het leek alsof we tussen drukke periodes kwamen. De mooie tuin stond er een beetje rommelig en verlaten bij. Maar personeel was uiterst behulpzaam en vriendelijk."

"Muy bien ubicado para turismo cultural y vinícola. Todo muy bien y personal muy amable, servicial y atentos. Por poner un pero: cenamos y tardaron mucho en traer el plato. En el desayuno llegamos a más de las 9 y ya faltaban muchas cosas q no repusieron, aunque el personal nos preguntó en todo momento por nuestras necesidades y nos las solventaron. A pesar de eso, creo q deberían haber repuesto algo de lo agotado. "
