"Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Room well presented but no shower gel in the shower! Spa would have been £50 pp as we were on a B &B rate.
Food in elements restaurant overpriced and vegetarian choice was bland and disappointing.
Gorgeous slightly individual hotel but definitely overpriced"

"Only stayed briefly overnight and didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food or other facilities. Pros - very clean, quick check in/out from friendly staff, room was spacious and bed was comfy. However, it’s very tired and dated - floorboards squeaked, and the fittings/furniture etc is overdue a refresh and refurbishment. Didn't really detract from an overnight stay, but did mean the hotel lacked a luxury feel."

"My room was spotless with a comfy double bed. Hot water was plentiful and pretty much instantly available.
My room was a loft room at the top of the house. (Not really suitable for anyone with mobility problems but fine for everyone else). In addition to the the usual features of a bedroom it also had a space with fridge, microwave and small dining area. I didn't use the extra facilities as I was only there one night but it would be ideal for anyone wanting to reduce costs by preparing a simple...

"The hotel was easy to find, about 10 minutes walking with suitcases from the main train station. The room was new & lovely, comfortable, soft bed, dark curtains for sleep, and the room was quiet, no loud door slamming. The breakfast was unexpected, we thought a typical continental, but were presently surprised with hot & cold options, as well as fresh pastries & waffles. The staff were so helpful, and we were able to hold our suitcases at the hotel for a few hours while we explored the city...
