"A lovely stop over with our dog. Room was fine and bed comfy. Ensuite bathroom was also fine and clean. Food in the pub was good and fresh especially the breakfast. Dog given a sausage which he was very greatful for. A perfect stop over in a peaceful location"

"A nice stay. A lovely pub right in the middle of Frome. We stayed here to go to an event at the Cheese and Grain which was perfect. Just be aware that as the rooms are part of an active pub you may get some noise on busier nights"

"Fantastic host in Adrian. His team working on Thursday evening (Rob and Molly) gave brilliant service in the restaurant. The selection of food and flexibility of the kitchen was excellent. Awesome beer selection at the bar and a nice friendly bunch of locals to chat with after my meal. Room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and very good size powerful shower All in all a very good find. Will definitely be back."

"A lovely stay just outside Bath The hotel looks stunning from the outside, especially in the evening when the façade and grounds are beautifully lit up. A real plus is the layout: the guest rooms are situated in a separate building away from the main bar and dining area, which meant our stay was peaceful and free from pub noise. Our room was surprisingly spacious, bright, and well equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The location worked out brilliantly for us as well....

"Room wasn’t that clean The shower wasn’t easy to use because of the head room. The room was very basic. The restaurant didn’t tell us they were closing so the kids missed out on pudding. Breakfast most of the breads were dry and tasted like they had been left out. I ordered poached eggs and they were terrible. Basically shouldn’t offer poached eggs if they can’t make them. Stay was basic."

"A lovely room. Light airy with big bathroom, comfy bed, excellent complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits in spacious room, with great view. Breakfast and evening meal all homemade/cooked. High standard and delicious."

"A very nice hotel, the rooms at the rear of the hotel were former farm buildings which have been completely renovated. There is a wet room ensuite which is well appointed. The restaurant has a good choice of food which is excellently cooked and presented. The breakfast menu which has to be ordered the evening before was slightly confusing until I worked out that the price stays the same and you just tick your personal choices. Well sited and only 6 minutes from the Bristol Airport Silver Zone...

"Property is in desperate need of updates and repairs. While some rooms looked recently renovated we were in room one and it has not been. The carpet had visible stains, the bed was as hard as a rock and while they gave us a second duvet to sleep on top of it didn’t do much to soften the bed. There was only one outlet that was easily accessible. Another behind the bed ( that was unable to be reached and based on the amount of dust had not been cleaned behind in some time.
