"Great Location. We had a King suite , lots of room and worth the money. A wealth of restaurants within walking distance . A shout out to the Amsterdam Market across the street. The food to go is excellent, Many mornings grabbed a fresh omelet for $10 and brought it up to the room , The hotel is very clean .
The elevators are very slow as it is an older building but thats a minor detail"

"Great location, friendly staff, and close to many restaurants, shops, and things to do. Easy to get around on foot or by public transit. The hotel offers great views of both midtown and downtown. So many great restaurants nearby, with Little Italy, Chinatown, and Soho within walking distance. The hotel offers good discounts to guests for many nearby restaurants and shops. Very quiet at night. Room was clean and fairly spacious. Highly recommend and would stay here again! "

"The location of this hotel is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. That being said, the first room we stayed in was pretty good except there was a sliding door for the bathroom - be careful not to slam your hand ten times - it’s heavy. No bathroom fan. Both the beds squeaked. The website says “great beds” - not true in this room.
We were on the avenue side and that is VERY LOUD.
The fitness room at 7:30 am was a mess! The cup holder on the treadmill had hair and junk in it. It hadn’t been...

"Location next to Soho, Chinatown and Little Italy was great. Property was extremely clean, front of house staff were polite and professional. Room was large for NYC standards. For the price, it was a great value. I'm not a "chain" person, but this made me reconsider, as it was a clean, newly done, and well run property for the modest rate."

"Location is great, staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent. We didn’t know you need to inform the front desk if you want the housekeeping for your room. We left a note to tell the housekeeping crews that we only needed fresh towels and no need to clean. When we came back at night the dirty towels were still there. Found out about the policy after checking with the front desk. He was very helpful to ask housekeeping staff to deliver the fresh towels for us and took the dirty ones...
