"The Abbey is the only available motel/cottage accommodation on Raymond Island. It is inn a unique location amongst pleasant bush environment and close to the Koala habitat. There is no food or eating places on the island but the ferry service to and from Paynesville which excellent restaurants and cafes and IGa. "Quirky motel, but idea for that sale person on the road. For the price it's what you would expect. Only small downside no kitchen sink and no fresh water in the fridge for a cuppa, I would prefer to be charged an extra couple of bucks and have bottled water in the fridge. Would stay there again."

"Dog-friendly property but cabin we stayed at was not. Wasn’t clearly stated when booking, had to get a dog sitter since booking was non refundable. Cabin was dated, lots of road noise since cabin was 10 metres from the street. Would stay again for the convenience location but will book a bigger and newer cabin. Economy cabins are old and a bit beat up. Surprised dogs weren’t allowed when the cabin was in such poor conditions. "
