"It was such a nice and quaint bed and breakfast! The host was very gracious and accommodating! Would definitely stay again if in the York Pa area!"

"Only condition I did not rate this a five star stay was the nights sleep. There was a clunking sound which we thought was from a pump somewhere. On a morning investigation we found that there was an actuator under our caboose which activating red signal lights outside. Mentioned to desk clerk that the actuator should be put on a timer so it shuts off at night they mentioned that they would pass this complaint to the owner"

"This is a cute little place with a Lancaster feel to it. It’s clean and cozy, friendly and warm. It has all the essentials, including free WiFi and a nice little work area, and it’s close to everything. Parking is not far from the entrance, which is very important for a woman traveling alone. I’ll definitely be back the next time I stay in the Lancaster area. "

"If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....

"They are currently remodeling so it was a little noisy early in the morning and woke me up at 5:30. We had a beautiful clean room and have stayed here many times. Every thing was clean and breakfast was very good. The staff was not engaging and friendly like they were on all our other trips but other than that the stay was very nice."

"Room was DISGUSTING! Not fit for human occupancy!!! Blood on the sheets, dirty pillow case, floors not mopped and showers had mold and mildew everywhere. We had a large group stay at this hotel and all had a similar experiences. Take all the sheets and burn them!"
