After many years of traveling from New Jersey to Virginia to stay at your property for this special occasion, I must express my disappointment with the experience we had this year. "The rooms (2) smelled awful, it was coming from the bathrooms, possible sewer damage. Changed rooms and still had a faint odor over the bleach smell. Body just continental. Staff very apologetic & helpful. Can’t be the 1st to complain of the odor!!"

"basic 2/3 star hotel. it was decent. breakfast ok. waffle iron was a good option..smoke free.. downside is they allow pets"

"Beautiful place right outside the town center! I loved the historic elements, how spacious the room was, and how comfortable the bed was! The breakfast items available were great as well! I would definitely recommend this spot in the future!"
