"My stay at the Miyako Hotel was a pleasant experience. I’ve stayed here in the past and as always, their hospitality is outstanding. The room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, and it was so quiet. I really appreciate that the noise level was at a minimum, so it made it easy to get a goodnight sleep. The biggest perk for me was their deep soaking tub. There aren’t too many hotels that offer this, so it’s a nice treat. I love that they have spa treatments and a restaurant on site. Next time...

"Love the history of the place! I grew up with the previous owners and had always known The Vurpillat as The Sea Sprite Apartments. I never knew the history of the building. I grew up in Hermosa and love knowing the historical elements of our little paradise. I love that the owners are renovating the property back to encompass the history. "Beautiful, ideal and cozy room. Incredible view of the beach and ocean waves. Spacious balcony. Everything we needed was within such a short walking distance. Great restaurants nearby that remained open at Christmas. Parking is super accessible and close to the building. Valet and front desk were nice and accommodating. Also pleased with the ability to use screen mirroring so we could enjoy Netflix and YouTube when it was raining outside. Had an issue with some outlets not working in the room...

"This hotel is low key classy and very clean! Staying here feels like home and the staff are friendly, helpful and courteous specially the front desk. Love the yellow colors and the room so tidy and the service is excellent! The parking is gated and so safety is a real deal here! I’d be coming back to this place and would love to bring people here to share the wonderful experience! "

"Only issue i had was house keeping never came to get my towels or change my bed out of 3 days there. I put them outside my door after calling front desk for house keeping and watched a house keeper walk past them. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had to book an extra day and it was through the hotel itself so they gave me a AAA discount (I am a AAA member). Sounds proof which is what I was looking for in a hotel. Couldnt hear other peoples noise and no one could hear me. Not a party, just alone...
