The place appeared to be closed when I pulled in the parking lot. Had to call the phone number to get someone to the front desk at check in. No amenities in the room. Wanted to charge me if I asked for an alarm clock! Won't stay there again!

The description said 1.9 miles from Casino., was 6 miles. Rooms deemed not safe by fire Marshall. Pool was not available. Would definitely recommended this place to anyone.

Never stay there, the staff seemed to be not with it, didn’t get to stay there as I paid for 2 rooms when arrival they told me they didn’t have rooms so I requested a refund and the property refused to refund me told Expedia they told me to come back at 10pm that was never told to me,there was multiple people. They are trying to get refunds as the rooms where very dirty and no one was getting the refund as the property refused to refund anybody.

The room across the hall from us was condemned. I understand the remodeling contributes to the mess but cigarette stains in the tub and stains on the couch has nothing to do with the remodeling. The only thing we could appreciate was that the air conditioning worked.

When we drove up to the hotel, I said to my husband what did we get into. The paint was peeling all over the outside of the building. There was only one person running the place. It was an extremely hot day and there was no air conditioning in the lobby or in the corridors leading to the rooms. Yes, there was an air conditioner in our room and it worked, but there were towels under the air conditioning unit. The building was old and it needs major renovations or torn down!

This was the rattiest hotel I've ever seen. If we would not have paid in advance, we would not have stayed there. The pictures on Expedia did not even resemble the actual place. Outside the sign was very damaged, the siding was cracked and peeling. The canopy where you drive to check in had broken and falling down sheetrock. When we got there to check in, there was nobody around. I had to holler - hello, anybody here? Finally a lady came out and checked us in. We were given only one key to the room and it was a card key that was probably used 100 times, and marked Hotel 6. The room was cobbled together with used looking bedspreads; one had iron burn marks on it. The pillowcases were pillow slips. The towels and wash cloths looked worse than my washcloths I now use for cleaning. The refrigerator had mold in it and there was no ice machine we could find. The included breakfast consisted of partial package of oatmeal raisin cookies and an airpot full of terrible coffee. There was actually a "Do not occupy" notice from the City of Redwood Falls on the door of the first room we passed, prohibiting entry. The room was declared a safety hazard.

Under construction I understand but this building looks like it’s falling apart, wasn’t made aware of the condition of the hotel beforehand and it seemed like an inconvenience to honor our reservation for rooms with two beds. And amenities listed on the website like on site laundry facilities were not available and the breakfast was sparse. Towels and bedding were threadbare and stained, felt like staying in a cheap seedy hotel. For the price we paid I expected a lot better. Ridiculously overpriced. I stayed in much better places recently for half the price and also in small towns nearby.

We did not stay. Hotel was dilapidated, no staff to check in with. Went back out to car to call , no answer. I have already contacted hotels. Com for a refund and have a claim pending. There were no guests or staff at hotel. Did not feel safe and we left and booked a different hotel

The property is not at all like the pictures. First impression was awful moldy exterior and the carport is falling in. Arrived after hours and the phone number provided for checking in didn't ring but also didn't have a prompt like disconnected so we couldn't even check in. Had to drive an extra hour then try to sleep in the hot car. Lobby smelled disgusting and the signs at the front desk claimed they are renovating. I wonder when they plan to start and why they would bother. The whole property is so disgusting it should be demolished. Do not attempt to stay here!!

The paint is falling off outside. The inside has multiple rooms with notices from the fire marshal stating they are a fire hazard and do not occupy. The ceiling in the halls are torn apart. They either need to demo the building or close the place and fix everything including the odd smell that permeates throughout.

This hotel is in very poor, run down condition. The pictures showing the condition of the hotel is falsely represented on the Expedia website. The hotel had signs inside the hotel that they were under construction. This did not appear to be accurate. There were signs on some of the hotel rooms that they were unsafe and a fire hazard. Ice machine appeared to be broken. Room was very musty smelling and not clean. The smell made my spouse and I sick. No one was available to check us in. We had to call an off-site number just to get a staff person to check us in. Very unpleasant experience. We ended up checking out of the hotel within 20 minutes. Expedia really needs to consider removing this hotel from their website to avoid others having a similar experience! We requested reimbursement back due to the falsely representation on part of hotel on Expedia’s website.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The room was in terrible condition and looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained in a long time. There was visible dirt, damaged furniture, stains, and an overall feeling of neglect. It was far below the standard I expect from any hotel. The condition of the room made it difficult to relax or feel comfortable. Basic upkeep appeared to have been ignored, and it was clear that maintenance and housekeeping were not a priority. For the price I paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone unless significant improvements are made to the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall condition of the rooms.

It was absolutely disgusting. Half the hotel was torn apart. There was exposed insulation and wires. At one point during the night saw a mouse run across the room. The bathtub was still dirty. Some ceiling tiles were missing. I feel like this property should be shut down and completely torn down. It is NOT safe!

it took almost an hour to track down staff to check in. I had to get three phone calls from the manager and search the hotel property knocking on hotel doors to wake staff up, only to have the manager scream at me on the phone and hang up on me. the building is falling apart even the outside overhang has pieces hanging down that are falling, paint is peeling, doors have signs that they are to be immediately vacated due to health and safety reasons, the brick wall in the reception area literally crumbled while I was there, visible bugs in my shower, human hair on the bathroom walls, gross stains on the walls, ceiling panels broken and missing wall panels broken and missing a door that said exit you open it it went into an entryway that the exterior door was propped open to providing no safety anyone could access the building. I refuse to sleep there I was there and gone within three and a half hours even without a vehicle.

When you drive up to the hotel you will be aghast at the conditions of the building. Paint peeling, boards broken and a lawn mower sitting at the front door. Once in the building things look better. You can see where the renovations in the building start and stop. We were tempted not to stay but gave the facility a chance. The room we had was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was extremely limited, and we did not partake in the juice boxes and granola bars offered. I think I would give the facility another chance once the renovations are complete. Until the renovations are complete, I would recommend the facility be closed.
