"The staff I encountered were amazing and very pleasant (Ms. CeCe, Ms. Andrea, Ms. Bridget & Ms. Annette). The room was clean, breakfast was great with plenty options). Ms. Annette made sure everything was restocked and clean-even with the sports tournament guests. Speaking of tournaments, if you're looking for a great place to relax make sure to check if there are any sports tournaments in the Gardendale area. Parents, please, if you're attending a tournament with your child(ren), encourage them to be well behaved. It is possible to be excited and mannerable simultaneously. The children were very unruly during my stay-running up and down the hallways, tracking water in out of the hotel from being in the pool and playing baseball in the hotel parking lot. It was quite disrespectful of the parents to allow this type of behavior to continue without correction or boundaries. They give very little to no regard to the other guests. Nonetheless, the staff remained consistent in their professionalism. My return is guaranteed-but only when Gardendale is free of any sports tournaments."
