"Stayed at Condovac la Costa in April. The views are excellent and the pools are a standout—well designed with great scenery and a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was good, and the staff was consistently excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the stay. On the downside, several amenities were closed or not operational during the visit, which limited the overall experience. The property also needs more consistent maintenance, as some areas feel worn and not as well kept as expected. Overall, a good stay with strong service and great views, but there’s clear room for improvement on upkeep and availability of amenities."

"Staff was friendly and helpful through out (we left outside of regular hours so we missed the included breakfast). Room was clean and linens were good! Property is in need of renovation and upgrades, a bit run down. Our front door had a crack in it! But otherwise we were able to lock up with no issues. Would book again if this was the only available option. "

"This is a gorgeous property but not as all inclusive as you'd think for the price.They try to get you to a timeshare meeting when you arrive but they aren't too pushy. Then, as you go, you find out there are a lot of "yes, buts". For example, we asked a bartender if we could take a bottle of wine back to our room with us and he said yes just call room service. So we did and they said the limit was 2 glasses and it would be a 45 minute wait. The staff were friendly but you had to pay mucho out of pocket to get all-inclusive type service. Will look for another resort next time we go back. Costa Rica is beautiful and has great culture. Not as cheap as say, Mexico, but paradise. "

"A beautiful stay in Guayacan. Staff very helpful. Grace was our favourite, she spent time teaching our children Spanish and made us feel very welcome every time. We had an issue with the water but this wouldn't put us off staying here again. A unique experience that we really loved. Food was delicious, go half board if you can. The rooms need an extra air con unit on the bunkbeds side, but if you have the unit on all day and shut the curtains it's fine. Don't be put off by the drive up to the hotel, it's worth it!"

"Friendly, guest oriented staff"

"We only stayed one night when travelling through, but wished we would have had more time to enjoy the horse riding and ziplines. The dinner and breakfast was prepared for us by wonderful staff, and they catered for vegan, vegetarian and carnivores in our family group, including our 2-yr old grandson. We enjoyed the pool and waterslide during our brief stop, and enjoyed walking around the property with company from the very friendly (but not in your face!) dogs. The only very small thing is the wind turbines that made a small hum, but not enough to distract or keep us awake. The room was comfortable and had a small kitchen that would have worked well had we needed it. The road we took was very bumpy the last few miles, and we were glad we rented a 4-wheel truck rather than a regular car."
