"隣に体育館、向かいに果物屋がある、一見日帰り温泉のような施設でした。館内は奥行があり、古さは感じるものの、お雛様の飾りや屏風など細やかな装飾もあり清潔で、必要十分でした。 洗顔・クレンジング・シャンプーのアメニティが部屋になかったこと、布団を自分で敷くスタイルだったこと、空調機の音が大きかったことが気になりました。 スタッフの方は皆さんとても感じの良い方で、お料理も美味しかったです。"

"I stayed at the hotel after a trip to shirakawago village. There is a shuttle service from the bus station to the hotel. Dinner was amazing. I didn’t expect to be served 5 courses french cuisine in a small town like this. A few bugs problem, but it was understandable since the location of the hotel near the forest. Overall it was an excellent stay. "

"Tatame style beds. Its a common area where you would fix your beds. Well maintained property. It has a sink and a toilet nut not a shower. Instead it includes onsen which it was fantastic. Just remember to reserve the time. The front office lady spoke basic English but was very helpful and explained everything we needed. Overall it was very good"

"An absolutely must stay in Takayama. The ryokan has everything that embodies the Japanese spirit with all the comforts that you need. The ryokan despite being over a 100 years old is incredibly comfortable with spotless rooms, that are generously sized for you to feel both comfortable and at home. "Convenience to the train and bus station was the best thing about this hotel. We had a few day trips planned, so that was key. The room itself was a bit dark, but very clean and had everything we needed, including a washer and a kitchenette. Don’t expect service in this hotel, there is none."

"Loved the giant room for my family. Our only negative with the place is there is a flight of stairs to get to the lobby which wasn’t disclosed. So if you have elderly family members that don’t well with stairs be aware."

"家族旅行で宿泊しました。駐車場が建物の前にあり、無料のため車の旅行者におすすめです。 部屋はとても清潔で玄関で靴を脱ぐスタイル、床が低反発の踏み心地に感じて、過ごしやすかったです。 キッチンは一通りの食器や道具が揃っています。グラスが洗面分しかなかったので足りなかったです。ゴミの分別をして捨てられるようになっています。 お風呂は脱衣所がなく、玄関で着替えなのでそこが家族旅行といえど恥ずかしかったのと、テレビでYouTubeが見られますが前の宿泊者のログインがされたままで色々見えちゃったので、リセットできてたらいいなと思いました。"
