"It was my second time at the abrigo da montanha, this time as a stop off between the Santander ferry and Lisbon. Great location in the mountains, lovely to have the small spa for a bit of relaxation, and the slightly fancier room with the jacuzzi bath. As with my last visit, the best elements were the amazing views of the mountains in Sabugueiro and the staff, all of whom were lovely. We only stayed one night en route to Porto so were unable use all the hotel's facilities but it was so nice we almost decided to rearrange our holiday to stay for extra nights. "
