"Was supposed to stay 2 nights. Mold in the bathroom. Got in late and went right to bed. Woke in the morning to find blood on the sheets near my feet, pulled the sheets off the bed to find someone else's sock. Spoke to manager who complained about the property himself and fully reversed our money."

"The entrance to the building was unexpectedly smelly, of cigarette smoke and urine. Once you meandered your way to the actual entrance of the property the smell wasn’t bad. We had no hot water. I tried emailing the property and they did not respond or fix the hot water which meant cold showers for two days. Beacon is a cute town. The room was quiet. "Really deserves 2.5 stars. Staff was pleasant and professional. Outside and room are a bit run down; but mostly clean. Room had a fridge and microwave but spotty internet and hot water with poor water pressure. Only 1 cup and 1 bar of soap for amenities. Not sure if there were other guests as it seemed most everyone there lived in the rooms, including the strong smell of pot in the morning. Place seemed safe enough though. "The property is in a great location, walkable to many restaurants. Room was very clean but the bathroom was underwhelming: with no shower door and water plashing in front of the toilet. The sink was actually in the bedroom, which was annoying as you're always making more noise than you would if it was in the bathroom.
