"Kaiserstühler Hof is a wonderful, traditional German hotel/restaurant, building on generations of service starting as the standard "post office hotel" that one finds in many German towns and cities. We loved every aspect of it, except that we happened to be in Breisach during a heat wave. Temperature was in the 90s, and this venerable hotel does not have air-conditioning. Staff gladly provided an oscillating fan, which helped us get through the night. Aside from that we highly recommend this...

"Easy parking on the street. Small quiet village. Clean place. Good restaurant. Barhroom on the small uncomfy side. Nothing special to see or do in the village. Building is old although windows have been renovated. In general, great place for a 50 Euros room!"

"Keine Begrüßung, nur Hinweis das das Zimmer erst ab 15.00 verfügbar ist. Ambiente etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber ok. Außer dem Wunsch nach einem guten Heimweg keine Verabschiedung. Spa kostet extra. Keine citycard bekommen. Zimmer wird nur alle zwei Tage gereinigt. Preis Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt. Highlight die asiatische Frühstücks Mitarbeiterin die jeden Morgen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend war. "

"Die gesamte untere Etage war dabei renoviert zu werden, was bedeutet, dass es weder Frühstück noch Sitzmöglichkeiten gab. Wie es nun mal so ist, lagen überall Baumaterialien, und der Boden sowie das Treppenhaus waren staubig und voller Dreck. Am schlimmsten war aber, dass sowohl am Samstag um punkt 09:12 Uhr als auch am Sonntagmorgen, ebenfalls vor 10 Uhr, die Bohrmaschinen das hellhörige Zimmer beschallt haben, sodass allein der Gedanke an Ruhe nicht mehr zu fassen war."

"Wir waren positiv überrascht, wie schön und geschmackvoll unsere Zimmer waren. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr sauber. Überhaupt ist das ganze Ambiente in diesem ehemaligen Bauernhof sehr charmant, gemütlich und einladend. Besitzer waren freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben gut Deutsch gesprochen. Das Frühstück hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen! Leckere frische Croissants, Baguette und sehr guter Kaffee. Das Einzige, was wir vermisst haben, waren gekochte Eier und vielleicht frisches Obst. Aber...

We couldn’t figure out the A/C and with a heat wave that was a bit of an issue but the staff were helpful and accommodating. Safe, clean, comfortable, and convenient."
