"Jan and her staff were so friendly and beyond helpful. The Victoria House is within the castle walls, so it's a quick walk everywhere. Breakfast is not served on site, however, Jan will make reservations at a nearby restaurant at a discounted price. She also kept topping up our tea, hot chocolate, Welsh Cakes, etc. There was a small fridge and microwave in our room, which was very convenient. The bed was so comfortable and the room was a very good size. We highly recommend booking in here!...

The review format asked for echo-friendliness so had to mark down a little for the use of small plastic bottles in the bathroom and the individual packaged portions of butter, jam, sugar and salt at breakfast. "Can’t fault this B&B. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with smiles and support. We had just arrived after a very long flight so needed a little TLC! The little cottage at the back was perfect for our stay. Very comfortable beds, lovely space for sitting outside to have coffee and bathroom a good size.
