"Great hotel, staff super friendly, the rooms are huge and clean. The only downside is the noise coming from outside in the wee hours of the morning - fire trucks, police cars, hot rods, motorcycles. You hear them all - not sure why it happens in this location but it does. The hotel left us ear plugs on the nightstand and I now understand why they do that. But if the noise wasn't an issue, I would be coming back for sure."

The comforters were old, yellow/brown stained. My room was $500 plus and I couldn’t even see the Hollywood sign as advertised because the weather. And also, it was a small corner, not head on. "We were looking forward to rest and relax by the rooftop pool the second day of our stay, but there was a huge party that afternoon. (The hotel lets non-hotel guests use their pool. Had we known this, we would have stayed elsewhere.) They started setting up for the event in the morning and it was loud. We could hear it from our room. Definitely not the vibe we were hoping for. There wasn’t a coffee maker in our hotel room. It took over 30 minutes to get seated and order a coffee from the cafe...

"Check-in was very fast and friendly. The staff was amazing. Every-time we walked through the lobby we were greeted. The property and decorations was cool. We should have visited every floor to see how it was painted and decorated. Breakfast on the 7th floor a great way to start the day. Loved it and would book again if we ever travel through LA. "Historic hotel that was well renovated but the rooms now have a bit of wear and tear now. The staff, location, and rideshare/valet was great. The pool was great and we were able to attend a private event at the pool because we were hotel guest."

"The property in the social areas were fantastic. The rooms on the other hand were limited in space for movement. It would have been nice to have a small microwave and mini fridge for left over food and drinks. The privacy of the bathrooms were horrible, some things need to stay private."
