This rating would be higher except for some check in and billing disputes. Accommodations, amenities, convenience, food, etc are all in the 4-5 star range. However, we arrived and had to wait at least 15 minutes for someone to show up at the desk. That individual acknowledged that we had a pre-paid Expedia reservation and then proceeded to make multiple errors and do-overs in a check in process that took much longer than it should have (at one point, our name seemed to have been assigned to another person's account/reservation). After the fact, we discovered we had been charged for the room directly by the hotel (on top of Expedia). When we reached out to dispute the duplicate charge, they denied ever receiving the Expedia reservation, claimed we booked directly on the date of check in, and refused the refund.They also denied any possibility that a mistake could have been made by them. This is a reminder to keep all your documentation and receipts. We are disputing the duplicate charge through our credit card company.
