Each time we went to our car we felt we were going to slip and fall. Same with the path from our room to the breakfast area. "This place is a gem. We loved our brief stay at this charming, old-school lodge on a lake. We were welcomed with mulled cider (adult mix), brownies, and kindness by a charming hostess who turned was helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and well appointed. We had a lovely view of Laurel Lake. The bed was comfortable and the bedding of high quality. Breakfast more than met our exectations. We can't wait to come back!"

"What a lovely room and building. Really enjoyed this hotel. However, the neighborhood outside the hotel was very sketchy and clearly there is an issue with drug addiction in the area. I ate at the restaurant within the hotel and went to and from my car in the gated lot. I enjoyed many other towns in the Berkshires, but Pittsfield was not one of them. Wish this hotel was in a different city, as I would love to stay there again. "
