"The recently renovated hotel was much nicer than the last time I stayed at this hotel some years ago. "

"No bar or food available. Shower very poor water flow and only luke warm. At least the parking was free. "

"Very clean and tidy room, a bit of a sea view and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to call them any problems or questions they are very happy to help. "Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff good atmosphere in the bar. Food was good. Great aera for exploring. Stayed here before and the function room and some areas are looking neglected we understand the roof needs replacing on the function room and that there are plans in progress shorty. Needs some love to restore the curb appeal around the check in entrance to give a better first impression. Enjoyed our stay here and good value for money."

"The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful "

"Property looks dated and in need of a modern upgrade. The hotel t is clean anc the staff was exceptionally good and helpful The location is great - near the Train Station and good restaurants. The breakfast was good and plentiful."

"Room spacious, condiments & bedding dirty, shower head kept coming off, needed extra pillows, bed was really low and showed dirty marks on sheets etc, couldn’t get a breakfast, staff were rude when asked for more pillows etc and asking why questions. "

"The staff were all polite and helpful, although some seemed a little inexperienced. We ate in the restaurant one night, the food was well presented, but the pork belly was over cooked and the chips were over salted. We also asked for the coffee tray to be cleaned & refreshed. Someone had come in, left a large bag of tea/coffee sachets in the room, but not cleaned the cups & tray - I assume they got distracted & didn't finish the job."

"The 2 bed cottage was lovely, thoughtful touches including treats and a basket for our dog. Breakfast was fabulous. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend! "
