"Our room was very clean and the whole property seemed well maintained. The breakfast was one of the very best I have experienced in decades of hotel stays. Crispy bacon real eggs, a great variety of cold and hot items, plus pancakes and cinnamon rolls!"

"It would be nice if there was a refrigerator in the room. It would be helpful to have a safety bar in the tub and shower and one by the toilet. I’m sure it’s purchased by bulk, but for such an elegant hotel, the toilet paper is bad. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and good customer service.."

"Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful, especially the young lady on the evening shift Friday night and Sat. Also, we had a problem with our reservation ( my fault) and the staff was very helpful and kind and took care of everything. The breakfasts both days were the best I have found at hotels. Good quality food and variety, and the staff kept everything replenished. If I ever get back to Rifle, I would definitely stay there! My only concern was the bed pillows which were small and felt like a bag of rags."

"Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Great view. The pool was closed. The guy at the front desk had no personality and no smiles. I would have given everything a five star if he had been a little nicer and the pool wasn't closed. I would not have used the pool but I know there were probably some kids that were disappointed."

"Loved the coffee shop & brewery that was attached along with the friendly-well kept town. The residence take a lot of pride in their home. Loved the accessibility of all the restaurants & hiking trails. Only negative was the $20/day parking fee"
