It is known for its Rooster🐓 or weathercock. ⛪St. Peter’s Church (Latvian: Svētā Pētera Evaņģēliski luteriskā baznīca). The first mention of this church dates from 1209, it was built of masonry🧱 construction🏗️ and therefore undamaged by a city fire🔥 in Riga that year. The construction and the history of the church can be divided into 3️⃣ distinct building styles. Two of them associated with Gothic and Romanesque styles and the third with the early Baroque style. It is also known for its Rooster🐓 or weathercock. ⛪Spire of St. Saviour's Anglican Church (Latvian:Anglikāņu Sv. Pestītāja baznīca). It is Anglican church⛪, located in the north of the old town centre. The foundation stone was laid in 1857 and the church⛪ was dedicated on 26 July 1859.
