"My stay started with problems with getting on the WIFI. You have to be a Hilton member to get free WIFI. The hotel needs some repairs here and there. I was in “the tower” on the 5th floor. Wallpaper peeling from around the buttons at the elevators. The table at the elevator was worn. Disappointing for a Hilton. Especially for what you pay each night. As with most Hiltons, you have to pay for breakfast. Complimentary coffee is only available between 6-7. The coffee was great. The room was spacious but the mattress was not comfortable for us. I woke up with a backache both days."

"My room was perfect except the coffee maker did not work in my room! The shuttle was on time and the driver was pleasant. I was not aware parking was extra for PARK AND FLY. My past experiences with Park and Fly the overnight parking was included. Overall a pleasant experience."

"This hotel is gorgeous. A luxury hotel at a reasonable price. Absolutely incredible. I deeply want to give more than 3 stars but the food situation was just SO annoying. I stayed for 4 nights and took meals at the hotel. I had to order from the in-hotel restaurant, run up to my room, while it was prepared, and run back down to pick it up. For this pleasure, I was expected to give a tip. (You pay first so I’m not going to take the chance of not tipping and having my food tampered with.) Two nights in a row, I had to go back downstairs a third time bc they forgot an item. Other nights, food wasn’t prepared as I’d requested. The breakfast option was even more disappointing — uninspired chewy bagel (not the good kind of chewy) + watery coffee. Again it’s serve yourself and a tip is expected. The first morning the iced coffee machine was filled with hot coffee. Just not worth it. BUT — if you’re prepared for this and either don’t care or make different eating arrangements, this hotel is top notch. I’ve stayed frequently at a nearby Ritz-Carlton and the lobby, rooms, and amenities at the U of Maryland Hotel are right up there if not better. "

"Breakfast lacked fresh coffee only instead Nescafé, no milk alternatives for dairy free folks.. My room smelled most of the time, starting in the middle of the night, like poop. The WiFi was not working properly as was my tv that programs kept stalling, probably due to internet issues. The front desk woman said that basically non one else complained about it.. so rather than trying to see if she could do something to help she antagonized me…my concern was my internet and my tv not other guests... bathtub not very clean.. and when I checked in, girl at front desk told me water in faucet is u drinkable and if I showed up at 8:30 for breakfast the person doing breakfast would be mad at me…don’t know if she thought she was being funny..I know I didn’t find her funny.. Bathtub also didn’t drain properly.."

"The hotel appeared clean and up to date. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. Only one elevator was working at the time of my stay. 24 hour shuttle to airport and close venues. (Must schedule ahead during certain hours.) Small restaurant on site. Good, low cost breakfast with hot and cold items onnthe buffet. I would stay here again, if in the area."
