Negatives: 1. When we checked-in the person was "filling in" and we were not advised about amenities like the free drop-off service. Better training for entire staff is recommended. 2. Housekeeping was uneven. Some days a real...

"Beautiful room, great hotel, the coffee/snack bar at lobby was best food of the whole stay, great sandwiches made to order (so not a quick grab and go). The other restaurants were disappointing. So glad we booked this hotel as it was
walkable to the shops and wine tasting versus. Complimentary wine tasting at lobby at 5pm as we as chocolate chip cookies at 8pm, fun and sweet! There are shuttles, but only twice an hour pickup & closes at 5pm. The mansion on the estate was miles away so it takes...

"The Flat Iron Hotel is a difficult one to review. There is much to like about the hotel: the location, in the heart of downtown Asheville, is perfect. The staff was wonderful, extremely helpful, and anxious to please. The hotel restaurant, Luminosa, was very good with outstanding food and excellent service.
