"Where to begin? I have been enjoying the restaurant associated with this hotel for many years now on my visits to the area which is a treasure near Yosemite. The town of Oakhurst is my favorite as it offers great amenities that are the closest to the best entrance to Yosemite in my opinion. Lets start with the food. "Large room with basic amenities, including a microwave and fridge, which were very useful for our 2-night stay. Very close to some restaurants and grocery shops. Free breakfast is included, but we didn't take it as we always leave before 7 am. The room is clean and they provide bedroom cleaning if you stay more than one night. "

"Simple mountain lodge hotel room but with great staff and amazing outdoor amenities. My favorite part might have been the comfy rockers on the balcony that overlooks the mountains and nearby stream but there were lots of other outdoor areas for gathering to relax and enjoy the mountains. Very friendly staff that are super helpful and knowledgeable for exploring the area. "

"The place was super clean, quiet, and walkable distance to a coffee shop and little market which was a plus. There is also a yummy Mexican restaurant right next to it. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and made s’mores with the fire pit. Also the bed has an electric blanket which we really enjoyed. We loved our stay so much we’re thinking of when we can come back again!"
