"A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. "

"This was our second stay here and we stayed in room Flor, we loved our last room but this room was absolutely stunning. Well equipped with little details such as a robe, slippers, cotton pads, ear buds, toiletries, lovely smelling diffusers in the room and a radio. The walk in shower is lovely too!

"No parking only down road a bit far if you can’t walk far or disabled
also stairs very steep
and too many lorries turning up at 5am for deliveries and people screaming and shouting late at night from 2 public houses down the road and to top it all from 7am Monday and Tuesday morning young school children waiting for restaurant Haystack to open for school club the hotel itself is excellent condition very high specification finish very clean condition no hot water till 8am"

The 2 bed apartment ( with en-suites) was very clean with good decor. Very comfortable beds. Good sized rooms. We had a very quiet and chilled stay.
