"Check in was at 4:00pm. Our room, along with others, was not ready. Got in around 5:00. Kids were all sandy so they went to shower. Water was cold. After hanging out for a couple hours, ants started crawling all over the counter. We left for the evening and when we came back around 12:30am, our room key wouldn’t work. I called at the day before arrival to ask about early check in because I needed to attend a funeral at 2:00 pm. I was informed I would have to pay $20 extra. "We stayed at the Lighthouse Cove Inn. It's a smaller motel. The Bandon Inn is operating the property. We've stayed at the Lighthouse Cove twenty years ago. I am glad to see it purchased and invested into. Regardless of all that. The staff at the Bandon Inn we're very professional. And the clerk had great recommendations for dining and other activities. "Photos appear much nicer than reality. It looks hip but is very cheap motel outside of that. Not having any on-site staff when there’s only a partial roll of toilet paper for example makes the convenience of self-check-in moot. Rooms VERY small- not enough room for 2 small roller suitcases. Location removed from most Bandon sights."
