"The property itself is definitely a bit nostalgic – very much in the style of the 60s beach family vacation vibe, which can feel a little bit dated or charming, depending on your view. "Convenient location but lacking in the quality we’re accustomed to at Fairfield Inn & Suites. The staff is pleasant. The room had a few bugs in the bathroom. There was also a black stain right outside the shower door. The shower only had body wash and 2 shampoo bottles. No conditioner and the other 3 were filled with what appeared to be the same soap. Breakfast was ok. The eggs were watery and one of the days the carton of milk was curdled. The room is not kept clean and every seating area had...

"Great location—literally just a block from the beach! The property was clean, comfortable, and within walking distance to everything we needed. Staying here made our time in San Diego even better, especially since it was so reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend! "

"Rooms need renovating. Toilet not secured to the floor. Water leaked all over the counter from handle of faucet when water was turned on in the sink. Staff was friendly, but really no amenities to speak of. Vending machines down the hall we’re quite expensive. Swimming pool was one block away at a sister hotel. Would not stay here again and would not recommend. The only positive was the location, one block away from the ocean."
