"The hotel is perfect for Cubs fans, nothing more convenient. Very clean, nice shower & bathroom. Beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly. For the price, not worth it for people who aren’t going to games. The room doesn’t have a fridge or coffee maker. Hotel bar is very cool, but also costly. "

"This was my second stay at the Sono. I love everything about it. It is a great location with restaurants within walking distance. Free to park close to hotel. Comfortable beds. Very clean!! Management is both helpful and friendly! Breakfast had healthy options. I plan to stay again next time I’m in town."

"When we checked in there was a flyer/letter stating that water would be cut off between 8pm and 8am without any notice. It also took an incredible amount of time to check in. "The property and rooms were super clean and comfortable. I was so surprised to see this hidden GEM in Chicago. It is close to Devon street where we love to go for food and shopping so GEM will definitely be our stop every time we are in Chicago area. Breakfast was so good not the usual buffet at other places but a made to order and hot and yummy. The service was outstanding. I would give it a 10/10 and totally recommend it."

"Avoid. Marginally clean. Tub was gross. I did not feel comfortable taking a shower. Lamps that were supposed to have 2 light bulbs had only 1. No Kleenex supplied in room. Remote control on TV did not work. Had to go to the desk 4 times before someone came to the room and figured it out. Outside stairs are treacherous. The railings are at least 6" too low. You have to be in a bent over position to hold the railing."
