"I was in Mauritius for work and booked this hotel an hour before I checked in without really researching it at all. It was superb. I stayed for 2 nights all-inc. The staff were lovely - polite but also fun to talk to. I had an amazing massage in the spa (by Cedric). I took a hobbie cat out and spent a morning zipping up and down the bay (though got told off for staying out too long!!!). Meals were decent for the price, though two nights didn’t qualify me for the a la carte restaurants, the buffet was fine. I really liked the bar and the huge selection of cocktails. The room was spot on. It had a fan so you don’t always have to use the air con, the tuck shop concept was great (you go to the counter and they just give you what you want with soft drinks, beers, tea, ground coffee, milk etc). There are a few feline staff members and one liked to snooze on my balcony - never tried to come in the room though. Excellent wifi throughout the resort, even on the beach. If you stay after check out time you can book showers. "

"Breakfast can be better. One menu daily is boring and certianly not conducive to longstays. Alao the Indian vegetarian selection is rather poor and not properly considered having regrd to the people of indian origin that patronise the Lux Grand Baie"

"Great that it was adults only. All staff were polite and friendly throughout the resort. Service was excellent throughout our stay. Liked the fact the resort was very eco focused, for example no plastic bottles use, no plastic straws, etc. The whole resort was spotlessly clean, our room, the beach, the pool, the restaurants... A lovely place to stay."

"We an amazing two weeks at Paradise Cove. From the attentive staff to the amazing food and service. Specially call out to Tulisi for the rum tasting session...15 different flavoured rums..Deepak and Neetish who were in every restaurant we ate in from breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very relaxing time, but made use of the on site gym - not big but well equipped and had the most amazing hot stones massage in the Spa. "
